PRELIMINARY TASK 1 CCR PLANNING

What went well?

- Talent was great

- Shots were done quickly 

- Set up was quick 

- Setting was perfect 

- weather was great

- the hallway shots were shot very well

What was challenging?

- Communication wasn't the best 

- People walking through the hallway

- Camera kept running out of battery 

- Came late so we were behind most of the night 

- We had a young girl that had to be home at a certain time so couldn't fully finish

- Lighting wasn't the best in the car scenes

- We needed more establishing shots 

- Some walls and doors had some signs that effected the end product (Mise- en- scene)

- Some shots were a little bit shaky 

- The talent were a little stiff in some of the shots 

- we didn't have our papers (shot lists, story board etc.)

What will you do differently at your next shoot?

- We will have the camera on charge whenever we can

- We will film on a night when no one will be around 

- talk about every shot before and after they are taken 

- We'll bring all of our sheets of paper and have them on hand 

- Get more establishing shots 

- Create better lighting in the car 

- Give the talent some freedom to be more relaxed and be creative.

- Try to have some shots on a stand or have some people with steady hands.
